English Language Arts Week

Dear Parents,

The English Language Arts week is happening next week! Yes, the whole of next week promises to be very interesting and exciting!

On Monday, there will be a *costume parade in the morning. During recess on Monday and Thursday, the boys can visit **six different stations to try out different activities based on six Roald Dahl story books. We will also be doing ***activities in class. And...there will be lollipops and trophies to be won!

Here are the details:

*Costume Parade
What the boys could do over the weekend:
1. Read the story book 'Fantastic Mr Fox' by Roald Dahl.
2. Create a costume using recycled materials based on any character in any Roald Dahl story book.

On Monday morning, I will select five representatives from our class to participate in the Costume Parade. All five representatives will receive a lollipop each. From the five, I will select one best costume, and the boy will be awarded a trophy. During assembly in Week 1 Term 2, this boy will wear his costume and go on stage to receive his trophy.

**Activity Stations
During recess on Monday and Thursday, the boys may visit six different activity stations located at the following venues:
