Kindly ensure that your child has memorized his script and his prop is ready for the presentation.

Kindly be informed that the boys will be participating in Show and Tell (dry run) next week. Today, they were given a demonstration on what they should do during Show and Tell.

Prior to the presentation, the boys are to:

1. select a favourite food item

2. prepare a *script of at least 10 sentences to talk about the food item
-There is no time limit but a well-rehearsed presentation should last for about 5 minutes.

3. memorise the script
-Your child is allowed, but not encouraged, to read from or refer to his prepared script. This is to enable him to concentrate on his oral delivery and facilitate the presentation of his prop/food item.

4. prepare a simple, suitable prop related to the topic/food item

*Kindly refer to the rubrics and sample script provided.

Next week, the boys will draw lots to determine their turn for the presentation. The dry run will be conducted on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Kindly note that NO marks will be awarded for the presentation. Only oral feedback will be given to the boys based on the rubrics. The actual topic for the graded presentation will be announced after the dry run.
